Hand Turning A Seam Ripper/Stiletto Tool

This series of photos show the steps that go into every tool or pen that I make out of Acrylic, wood is a little different. Seam Rippers/Stiletto tools usually take between one to two hours to complete.

Dear Wayne and Sheila.

I saw Sheila on John's Threads of Life and noticed you on Hobby maker.
I can not tell how happy I  am with my stitch ripper/pokey tool. Its absolutely gorgeous from the presentation to the finish. Lovely weight, ( I have arthritis) and sits beautifully in my fingers.
The workmanship is amazingly good. It is nice to be able to see you on tv and know who has hand crafted what we buy.
Also important to me to buy hand crafted,  from family business rather than a big company.

Very kind regards

Sue Hall.

Lisa Wood

Today I attended a circular knitting workshop with my Mum and my sisters which was run by Sheila Halliwell.
I honestly cannot recommend this workshop enough. Although the rest of them have knitted before I haven’t but that really didn’t matter. It was easy enough to pick up and soon we were well on our way to making a scarf.
Sheila was so helpful with her hints and tips and especially her patience with my Mum (who’s 81) was amazing. We’ve had such a lovely day and as a bonus we’ve all come away with a lovely handmade hat and scarf.
We came away saying we can’t wait to try another of Sheila’s workshops.

Thanks again Sheila x
